How can we help you?

Meet Sarah.

I’m the Women’s Health Physiotherapist here at Physiotherapy by Cure Clinics.

I’ve been practicing as a physiotherapist since 2007 and have since gained experience in musculoskeletal health and women’s health in the NHS.

I have a passion for empowering women to live healthy and happy lives, despite common health conditions, and love seeing my work make an incredible difference to the women I treat.

Frequently Asked Questions.

Q | What is a Mummy MOT®?

A | The Mummy MOT is a specialised postnatal assessment that focuses on assessing and addressing the physical changes that occur during pregnancy and childbirth. It’s not just a standard check-up; it’s a tailored assessment conducted by a trained physiotherapist with expertise in women’s health.

Q | When is the best time to have a Mummy MOT?

A | Ideally, the Mummy MOT should be scheduled around 6-8 weeks postpartum, once the mother has had time to recover from childbirth. However, it can be beneficial at any point in the postnatal period, even months or years after giving birth.

Q | Is the Mummy MOT only for first-time mothers?

A | No, the Mummy MOT is suitable for all mothers, regardless of whether it’s their first child or subsequent pregnancies. Each pregnancy and childbirth experience are unique, and the Mummy MOT can help mothers address specific issues and concerns related to their individual circumstances.
